Phoenix Comicon is proud to announce that actor Dean Cain will be attending Comicon 2013.
“We are thrilled to have Dean Cain coming to this year’s Phoenix Comicon,” says Convention Director Matt Sorberg.
Dean Cain is widely known for his portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman on the popular television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, which ran on ABC from 1993 to 1997. Cain began his acting career after trying out for the NFL and subsequently appears on popular television shows, Grapevine: A Different World and Beverly Hills, 90210 before taking on the iconic Superman role. Following the end of the series, Cain would go on to appear in numerous movie and television roles. Most recently, he was seen playing the role of himself for the television shows Stars Earn Stripes and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, both in 2012.
Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture experience of the southwest. Comicon is presenting guests and programming for hobbyists by attracting the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, tv, and gaming industries. Entering its eleventh year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 40,000 attendees to its May 23-26, 2013 convention held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency in Downtown Phoenix.
