I’ve really been enjoying the new dynamic they’ve created between Lois and Clark now that she has learned he is the Blur. It’s been really fun so far to see her hint at Clark’s ‘Blur-ness’ and Clark remain oblivious.

The way I look at it this episode was designed to give Clark another push towards his Superman persona. Especially with the comment that Jor-El has renounced his son. Seems like it might be a ploy to just make him want to prove Jor-El wrong and in turn become a hero.
