TOM WELLING LANDS ROLE IN JFK PIC, PARKLAND
Deadline.com revealed Tom Welling, former Clark Kent/Superman of the Smallville television show has landed a role in Parkland.
Filming began on January 14th and will continue into the middle of February in Austin, TX and will be moving onto Los Angeles.
The ensemble drama recounts the hours following the assassination of JFK in Parkland Hospital. Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman are producing with Bill Paxton. Open Road is in talks to distribute domestically in the fall, around the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination.
So a possible November 22nd premiere as that is the 50th anniversary date of John F. Kennedy’s death?
Tom joins Paul Giamatti, Zac Efron, and Billy Bob Thornton. Jackie Earle Haley, Ron Livingston, and Colin Hanks were names added just five days ago.
WAY TO GO, TOM!!!

After a pause “wise” Tom Welling finally returns to work. Finally, do not speak more than Smallville, Tom needs new experiences because he is a talented actor with beautiful eyes. I hope to see him in the role of villain.
