Episode 9×21 Casting Spoilers
Hold onto your hats folks – but for episode 21 for this season promises to be a whopper! Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly is reporting the return of 2 past cast favorites – Annette O’Toole and Michael McKean will be returning as Martha Kent and Perry White!
Ausiello says that Martha will not be returning just to dispense motherly advise. Could she be there to warn Clark about Waller’s doings?
As for Michael McKean, Executive Producer Brian Peterson had this to say about both of their returns:
“We’re thrilled to have Michael back on the show,” says Peterson, “and to be able to link it with the anticipated return of Martha Kent is just a phenomenal way to gear up to the end of the season.”
Peterson also reveals that the iconic character’s latest trip through Smallville will bring him “closer to his destiny” than ever before, adding, “We finally get to see the legendary introduction between Perry White and the intrepid Lois Lane.”
