Here is the offiical Season 9 poster from the CW Upfronts in May, as you can see they are still listing Sam Witwer and Cassidy Freeman as regulars- I guess the oddness of Sam’s last scene in Doomsday ( naked outside the mansion) will continue into next season. I can’t believe that with the gorgeous new artwork that they produced this year that they used cast pics from Season 6-again – to make this poster!

Let me get this straight. Mid season 8, someone paid good money to get promo pictures taken — probably for the DVD– and the CW refuses to use them? So we have season 6 or earlier photos. But the greatest stupefying mystery is . . . why put Erica Durance’s head on Kristin Kreuk’s body? If they ever did a revival of Lil Abner, Ms. Durance would be a great candidate to play Stupefying Jones — so why do fans get the amateur hour with the Photoshop? Did someone get paid for this? Really?
And the synopsis. . .Do these people watch the show?

well martha in earlier episodes of season 8 lois was taken over by zods wife who davis/doomsday is her son an there was a recent post saying he is a new character same actor farther/son r gonna look the same so that clears that up.
Davis did die because HE WAS HUMAN his kryptonian side was taken by black kryptonite.
And the finale scene in the last episode thats zod.
first off i think that they should bring kara back into season 9. and wat happened in the last episode is tht i cant remember who exactly but they used some type of kryptonite to split the personalites between davis and doomsday so tehchincally davis isint dead they’ve done this in earlier episodes as well. and plus they have to come back for a season 9 clarck still hasint learned to fly, he hasint defeated doomsday his greatest challenge yet and wen do we get to see the man of steel reveal his secret to the world and wear his superman outfit. and last create his league of superheroes
how come jimmy died because he is in the later episode with superman and all the movies so how can he die.
in the movies i think’s jimmy is james olsen; jimmy’s little brother at the funeral that chloe gave the camera to and said, “maybe you’ll follow in your brother’s footsteps”

In the last episode, Lois Lane grabbed the Legion ring and disappeared. Maybe she’ll mess with time and some people “come back from the dead”. It wouldn’t be the first time in Smallville.
