Turbulence Episode Review, Smallville Season 8 Spoilers for end of Season

March 23, 2009

Head over to our forums to read Moderator Baudyhallee’s review of Turbulence HERE- an episode with ups and downs and some really solid highlights. Feel free to sign up and chime in on our discussion.

The key phrase everyone all over the web is saying about the episode- JIMMY IS THE MAN! Aaron Ashmore knocked it out of the park this week with his stirring performance. He is my favorite Jimmy Olsen without a doubt. The final showdown between Jimmy and Chloe at the hospital was really well done- Chloe ( Allison Mack) was great – she really seemed stunned that she was so out of touch with Jimmy, while Aaron Ashmore just rode the FU train telling her off for choosing someone else over him once again. You could feel the anguish and pain from both of them and you had to admire Jimmy for not sitting around and taking Chloe’s lies anymore. NOTE- it is so obvious she is standing on a box at the end- the scene looks really funny….why this show can’t line up shots just right to handle height differences confounds me….remember Action where they had Lana on a box so tall she was almost as tall as Clark? Whatever. Watch Jimmy show why we don’t question his manhood.

8.21 Injustice Watch for Tess and league of meteor infected misfits

8.22 Doomsday Clark Kent vs. Doomsday. Source: TV Guide Online

Multiple sources confirm that two pivotal characters will bite the dust in this May’s season finale. And in a bit of a departure for Smallville, both deaths will stick. “These characters will die and they will stay dead,” maintains my insider. “This is the real deal.” [...] Eh, one more little tease won’t hurt anyone: One character qualifies as a Smallville vet… the other one, not so much. [...] The Legion will return in the May finale — in some form. Also, I’m told this season’s final two episodes will focus on a manhunt for Chloe and Doomsday. Source: The Ausiello Files
