Smallville stars making appearances at Dragon Con 2008

Dragon Con in August is one of the oldest fan events in the country- this year will be 22 years old. They already have some of the biggest names in sci-fi lined up to attend.

From Smallville will be Erica Durance ( Lois Lane) , Michael Rosenbaum ( Lex Luthor) , Phil Morris ( Martian Manhunter) and James Marsters ( Brainiac) will be in attendance.

Smallville guest stars with other sci-fi affiliations scheduled to appear : Robert Picardo ( Edward Teague Season 7 Quest and Arctic), Tahmoh Pennikett ( Wes Keenan -Season 6: Nemesis and Prototype, also Season 2: Resurrection as Vince Davis ), Aaron Douglas ( Deputy Michael- Birtigo Season 2: Obscura, Pierce- Season 7: Traveler).

I suspect the Galactica crew will be busy as there are a bunch of BSG people going to the con. Stargate Atlantis which is Picardo’s new home will also be well represented as is the Whedonverse. In addition to these Smallville guests Erica’s husband David Palffy will be there- probably sharing her table. For those of you who don’t know- he was the voice of two Goa’ould’s on Stargate SG-1 . David played Sokar- the Goa’ uld who took on the guise of the devil and Anubis who tried to annihilate all life in the galaxy, more than once.
