Highlights- Michael was sitting with George Takei ( Star Trek, Heroes) who was eating lunch while Neal interviewed Michael. The focus was on what Michael will be doing post- Smallville and the answer was taking a break from series TV and working with his friend former producer of Smallville, and current producer of Heroes Greg Beeman. They sold a script to FOX- presumably a movie one- last fall and have more stuff in the pipeline.

This explains why Michael was on the set of Heroes last fall! Although how cool would it be for Michael to show up as a Hero in the Villains arc next season?
Michael said they wrapped his last episode this past week and had a big party and send off for him in Vancouver so unless we hear he gives in- his time as Lex Luthor is officially over with this season’s last episode Arctic.
Thanks for the fun over the years Michael and best of luck! I am sure he will do really well- just like Tina Fey he was a writer for Conan O’Brien and folks with that history tend to do pretty well in the long run.
