EW: Smallville Alert for Lex Fans

Entertainment Weekly continues with their extensive coverage of what to watch as new episodes of our favorite series return to prime time.

This week’s #987 April 18, 2008 issue has this to say about the upcoming episode 316 Descent airing April 17, 2008 on the CW Network:

Smallville fans have waited- for years, really- for Clark ( Tom Welling) and Lex ( Michael Rosenbaum) to make their respective leaps toward superhero and superbaddie. In these last episodes under the auspices of exiting series creators Al Gough and Miles Millar, Lex, at least, makes serious headway, killing a key character in his quest to unmask Veritas, a shadow group linked to a mysterious being known as the Traveler. If that scene is shocking, wait till you get to the one where Lex destroys his own soul- literally. All that’s left is for Clark to strap on a cape and fly, already. B+
