    Happy Birthday Superman. I’ve been a fan for almost 60 years so guess he was only 10 when I started reading every Superman comic available. I love Smallville and am addicted to the show. Have seen every episode several times. LOVE Tom Welling as Clark Kent. Can’t wait til he can fly.. like the real super man he is. I remember going to see Superman the movie with my father when I was but 7 years old. Being the responsible father he told me that I could not fly like him, and not to try. But there was one thing that I could do to try and be like him. I could try and be the best person I could possibly be. Try to be honest, and try to help others. He inspired me at a very young age to do that. Superman is so much more than a mere comic book, movie, tv show. He is an example of what we all wish the world behaved like, and one we should all aspire to be. Compassion, caring, tolerance, fogiveness, love, responsibility. These are all powers Superman posesses and powers we can all have if we simply try. Happy birthday Superman.
